Tour de France Femmes 2026 Route & Stage Analysis
The 2026 Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift starts in Lausanne on 1 August and ends in Nice on 9 August. Nine stages, one flat individual time trial, and a Mont Ventoux summit finish that will settle the general classification. - Mont Ventoux (stage 7)
- From Bédoin, about 21 km at 7.5% average. The forest kilometres sit above 9–10%, then the road opens onto bare limestone at Chalet Reynard where the mistral can add minutes. Pacing, not attacking, decides this climb.
- The Beaujolais walls (stage 5)
- Short climbs of 1–3 km with pitches into double digits, linked with almost no flat. Ideal terrain for a puncheuse to steal time before the high mountains.
- The Nice hinterland (stages 8 and 9)
- Long, steady cols above the coast with technical descents. Cumulative fatigue after Ventoux matters more here than any single gradient.
